Meet Associate Anthony J. Charles

Handling Everything from Family Law to Litigation

Mr. Charles was born in Durham, North Carolina and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2009.

Mr. Charles received a Bachelor of Arts from The University of South Carolina in 2004. He graduated from The University of South Carolina School of Law in 2008. Also in 2008 he completed his Master's Degree from Vermont Law School in the study of Environmental Law and Policy. In 2010 Mr. Charles completed the Family Law Trial Institute at the South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas which is a nine day, intensive trial advocacy course designed to improve the courtroom skills of attorneys.

The South Carolina Board of Arbitrator and Mediator Certification has certified that Anthony J. Charles is approved to serve as family court mediator, effective July 21, 2014. Mr. Charles has completed the family court mediation training program required by the ADR rules and is a firm and passionate believer in the mediation process.

When not practicing law, he enjoys running, playing the guitar, music, and traveling.
