Mr. Stroud focuses his practice in commercial real estate transactions, residential real estate transactions, commercial leasing, and commercial real estate development. William advises developers, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, lenders, and investors with regard to acquisitions, financing, leasing, and title insurance matters, and related business transactions.

William is capable of handling all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions representing clients in their capacities as lenders, purchasers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants. His familiarity with the aspects of a complex real estate transaction allows him to focus on the details necessary to complete the transaction efficiently and confidently.

William was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1991. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2017. Mr. Stroud received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi in 2013. He graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2017. Mr. Stroud was awarded the Public Interest Law Association Pro Bono Award for his outstanding pro bono service. While in law school, he served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, served as a Justice on the Honor Council, and received a CALI (American Jurisprudence) Award in Wills and Trust Drafting.

When not practicing law, he enjoys spending time enjoying downtown Charleston’s cultural and culinary offerings, the outdoors, and spending time with his partner and dog.
